Singapore: Marina Bay Sands Skypark

Gone are the days where having a picture with the Merlion statue was enough to mark your stay in Singapore. Today, you’ve missed Singapore if you haven’t seen it from the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck.

One would be satisfied with the staggering sight of the engineering marvel and visual feast of the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Hotel from the ground, but you can be greedy and spend more ka-ching for the S$23 (adult) and S$17 (children) admission fees.

Looking at these prices will make you pay either way since you’d want to ascend those 57 levels of MBS above the heart of the city, but you’d be thrilled to learn this hack:
CÉ LA VI is a rooftop nightclub at MBS and this offers an entry voucher for only S$20 with fully redeemable food and beverage purchases in the bar. Availing this voucher will be the bang for your buck since the bar is also located on the observation deck. From the bar, you’ll be all awe-struck with jaws dropped as you drink in the panoramic vistas of the stunning Marina Bay, the world-class cityscape, the architectural wonders of Supertree Grove, and the vibrant colors of Gardens by the Bay. From Marina South Pier all the way out to the Singapore Strait, get a bird’s eye view of the bustling shipping lanes that have built Singapore’s rich multicultural history.

Whether you’re looking to immortalize the memory of blue waters glittering under the clear bright sun or marvel at the spectacular nightly light and laser show Wonder Full, the Observation Deck is the place to be to hone your photography skills from the best vantage point in the city.

Marina Bay Sand also has a 150-meter rooftop infinity Pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. Although access is limited only for the hotel guests, you can still enjoy the view of the pool overlooking the Singapore skyline. There is also a Souvenir Store that offers Marina Bay Sands and Singapore-themed souvenirs here, from fashionable bags to handy keychains and magnet.
